Ukraine Warns of New Phishing Campaign Targeting Government Computers

The Ukrainian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-UA) has warned of a new phishing campaign that mimics the Security Service of Ukraine to distribute ANONVNC, a malware that enables stealthy unauthorized access to infected hosts. It is estimated that over 100 computers have been infected since July 2024, including government systems. The attack involves mass email distribution containing a malware-laden ZIP archive file.
