Carequality to align interoperability strategy with TEFCA

Healthcare interoperability initiative Carequality will align with the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA). The decade-old network, which links 50,000 outpatient clinics and 4,200 hospitals, supporting exchanges of 940 million documents each month, aims to converge with TEFCA in future. TEFCA, part of the 21st Century Cures Act 2016, gathers stakeholder feedback through the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT and is led by the Sequoia Project.
