Researchers at Graz University of Technology have uncovered a cross-cache attack named SLUBStick, which targets Linux systems with a 99% success rate. SLUBStick can transform a limited heap vulnerability into an arbitrary memory read-and-write ability, allowing attackers to increase privileges or escape containerized environments.
