Openwater Secures $100M to Tackle Diseases at the Cellular Level

Health tech firm Openwater is accelerating plans to commercialise its platform to diagnose and treat diseases at cellular level through semiconductor physics, light and sound. The platform can destroy cancer cells without affecting healthy ones. The firm has received $100m in funding, with supporters including Khosla Ventures and BOLD Capital Partners. Openwater aims to make advanced medical treatments widely available and more affordable, and mitigate economic pressures on healthcare systems.
