Howard University Hospital taps new president

Roger Mitchell Jr., MD, has been named president of Howard University Hospital under the management agreement between Adventist HealthCare and Howard University. This follows the resignation of current hospital president Anita Jenkins. Prior to assuming leadership, Dr. Mitchell will resign as chief medical officer for the Howard University Faculty Practice Plan and take a leave of absence from his position as a professor of pathology.
