Novel AI Tool Maps Out Cell Metabolism

Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne researchers have developed an AI tool, RENAISSANCE, to simplify the creation of cellular kinetic models. These accurately map metabolic states, which promises to aid understanding of cell function and possible avenues for health and biotech research. The tool can effectively model changes in cellular metabolism, both induced and uninduced by disease, thereby assisting in the development of new treatments and technologies.
