Feds Warn on Russia Targeting Critical Infrastructure

The US, UK and other allies are accusing the Russian military of executing malicious cyber attacks targeting global critical infrastructure. The FBI, NSA, and CISA have identified the Russian GRU’s Unit 29155 as the perpetrator, which has been active since 2020 and has recently deployed the WhisperGate malware against Ukrainian organizations. The group has also targeted NATO members in North America and Europe, as well as targets in Latin America and Central Asia.
