Over a third of UK medical graduates lack training on sexual misconduct
More than a third of new doctors in the UK are graduating without being educated on sexual misconduct in a professional context, according to a study by the University of Cambridge. Almost half of medical schools offer no, or just generalised harassment, training. Earlier this year, it was revealed that training for NHS staff on sexual harassment intervention was lacking and there have been 20,000 incidents of sexual misconduct in the NHS reported.
