Democratic lawmakers call out nursing home executive pay amid minimum staffing rule fight

US Democratic lawmakers criticized escalating executive pay at three for-profit nursing home providers, Brookdale Senior Living, National HealthCare, and Ensign Group. The executives of these companies were paid $250 million over five years, while the industry opposed new minimum staffing requirements.
