Elon Musk threatens to sue FAA after feds propose fining SpaceX $633,000
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) alleges SpaceX violated its launch license requirements on two occasions last year and seeks to fine the company $633,009. The violations reportedly involve the use of an unauthorized launch control center and fuel farm. In response, Elon Musk, SpaceX’s CEO, has pledged to sue the FAA, claiming the proposed penalties represent “regulatory overreach”.
