Windows users targeted with fake human verification pages delivering malware

Windows users are being tricked into installing malware through fake human verification pages. These pages request the victims to paste a PowerShell script, which then downloads and runs a Windows EXE for Lumma Stealer malware. Email alerts from legitimate GitHub servers have been linked to these fake pages, following false “security vulnerability” issues raised by malware peddlers on GitHub repositories. Users should remain cautious of such scams.
