Beware of Google Street View Images Extortion Email Scams

In the past three years, scammers have begun threatening individuals with exposure of intimate images or accusations of illicit browsing unless a ransom is paid. Recently, they have also claimed to know victims’ physical locations, often demanding payment in cryptocurrency. Email security firm Cofense advises caution, including not clicking on links from unknown sources, not sharing intimate details online and never disclosing personal information.
