Terumo BCT and Nova Biomedical Collaborate on Automated Cell Culture Sensing

Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies is partnering with Nova Biomedical to improve cell therapy manufacturing. The collaboration will integrate Nova’s BioProfile FLEX2 automated cell culture analyzer with Terumo BCT’s Quantum Flex cell expansion system, enabling automated sampling and real-time analysis of a wide range of molecules in the cell therapy process, from culture to commercial manufacturing. This will potentially reduce reagent use and culture time and enhance outputs.
