Risk & Repeat: What’s next for Telegram and Pavel Durov?

Telegram has updated its policies to now turn over a user’s phone number and IP address upon a valid request from law enforcement agencies. This change, along with an amended FAQ entry about illegal content takedown, comes after the arrest of company CEO Pavel Durov, who was accused of facilitating illicit activity via Telegram.
