Waikato DHB in New Zealand has restored some of its services following a cyberattack, but there is still “a great deal of work to be done”, according to Chief Executive Dr Kevin Snee. The restored services include diagnostics, patient tracking, and clinician access to medical information. Radiation therapy is expected to operate at normal capacity next week. The DHB is also reviewing patient cases that were deferred and re-booking them based on clinical priority.
