The cyber gang known as Qilin is likely responsible for a ransomware attack that disrupted London hospitals operated by the National Health Service, resulting in cancelled operations and appointments, according to Ciaran Martin, former head of British cybersecurity. The incident, which took place last week, mostly impacted blood transfusion services and was reported to authorities. Qilin, previously known as Agenda, leases malware for a cut of ransom payments.
