A third of NHS Trusts have no method for tracking IoT devices

One-third of the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) Trusts have no method for tracking internet of things (IoT) devices, according to cybersecurity firm Armis, exposing data and services to significant security risks. While the UK government is working on a strategy to increase cyber resiliency by 2030, Trusts are struggling to meet regulations, arrange downtime, and deploy patches. Furthermore, 23% of Trusts reported insufficient resources to replace outdated or unsupported medical devices.
