Alberta Dental Services Security Breach Exposes 1.47M Records

Nearly 1.47 million people could have had their personal data compromised in a data breach at Alberta Dental Service Corporation (ADSC) between May and July 2023. The breach, which involved malware and unauthorized data copying, particularly impacted three groups of plan clients and service providers. Enhanced security measures have been put in place, and those affected warned of potential threats.
