All Santander staff and millions of customers have data hacked

Hackers are offering to sell supposedly confidential information about millions of staff and customers of Santander. The bank has confirmed a data breach but denies that UK customer data was compromised. Information accessed relates mainly to customers of Santander in Spain, Chile, and Uruguay, and to current and some former employees. The alleged hackers, ShinyHunters, claim to also hold a large volume of Ticketmaster data, a claim connected to an ongoing hack of cloud storage company Snowflake.
