An Overview of the New Rhysida Ransomware

The Health Sector Cybersecurity Coordination Center (HC3) has issued a warning about a new ransomware called Rhysida, which has been targeting multiple sectors since May 2023. Initially targeting education, government, manufacturing, and tech industries, Rhysida has expanded to healthcare organizations. The perpetrators are currently unidentified, with data revealing attacks are global, with cases noted in Indonesia, Germany, and the US.
