Analysis: Fake hotel reservation scam seen spreading infostealer malware

A phishing scam is using fake hotel reservation emails to spread a malware named MrAnon Stealer. The downloadable file hidden in the email infects the victim’s computer, targeting processes related to cryptocurrency wallets, VPNs, messaging apps, and gaming service Steam. The malware gathers data, which is then uploaded to a file-sharing website and sent to the attacker’s Telegram channel.
