Android: This Android malware that can make your bank account empty is spreading

A new Android malware variant, GoldDigger, is targeting financial organizations in Vietnam. Disguised as a fake Android app, GoldDigger can steal banking credentials and intercept SMS messages using the advanced protection mechanism Virbox Protector. GoldDigger’s operators are likely spreading it via phishing websites disguising as Google Play pages and corporate websites. The security research company Group-IB has informed clients and shared data with VNCERT in Vietnam.
