Appdome Releases New Defenses to Combat Accessibility Malware

Appdome has introduced a new feature, Prevent Accessibility Malware, to stop the misuse of Android’s Accessibility Service by detecting malware such as Xenomorph and Brasdex. These malware programs can hijack users’ devices to intercept and manipulate actions without users’ knowledge, largely impacting financial services. The new feature allows only legitimate use of the Accessibility Service, identifies trusted services, and provides mobile users the choice to accept Accessibility Service applications.
