Appdome unveils advanced Anti-Malware protections against Android accessibility service threats

Appdome has launched a defensive feature against malware affecting Android’s Accessibility Service, a framework originally created to assist disabled users with mobile applications. Accessibility Service Malware intercepts and manipulates service events without user knowledge, operating transactions and harvesting login details. Appdome’s “Prevent Accessibility Malware” uses various detectors and trusted accessibility applications to thwart attacks. The defence tool is built into Appdome’s Cyber Defense Automation platform.
