Apple issues emergency patches for 3 zero-day bugs

Apple has patched three zero-day vulnerabilities in its operating systems, which were actively exploited in previous versions. The vulnerabilities could have allowed attackers to elevate privileges, bypass signature validation, and execute code arbitrarily. These vulnerabilities were found in several Apple devices and discovered by security researchers from the University of Toronto and Google. Researchers from Citizen Lab have attributed the exploitation of these flaws to Cytrox’s Predator spyware, allegedly used by the Egyptian government against a former parliament member planning a presidential run.
