Apple issues emergency patches for 3 zero-day bugs

Apple has addressed three zero-day vulnerabilities in iOS 17.0.1 and iPadOS 17.0.1 which were actively exploited. The flaws, identified by researchers from Citizen Lab and Google, could allow privilege elevation, bypassing of signature validation, and arbitrary code execution. An investigation by Citizen Lab linked the vulnerabilities to the Predator spyware seemingly used by the Egyptian government to target a former parliament member.
