APT34 Deploys Phishing Attack With New Malware

The APT34 advanced persistent threat (APT) group, known for cyberespionage, has been found behind a new malware dubbed Menorah. Discovered in a phishing attack, Menorah identifies, reads and uploads files from a machine, as well as downloading another file or malware. APT34 is a notorious cyberespionage group specialising in Middle East targets. Its latest attack is thought to have targeted an organisation in Saudi Arabia.
