APT34 Deploys Phishing Attack With New Malware

The APT34 advanced persistent threat (APT) group has launched a malware it is calling Menorah. The malware was involved in a phishing attack and is capable of cyberespionage, including reading and uploading files, identifying machines and downloading other malware. It is thought that the targeted victim may have been an organization in Saudi Arabia. APT34 focuses on the Middle East and has been involved in high-profile cyberattacks on multiple targets.
