Arkansas-based Evolve Bank confirms cyber attack and data breach

Evolve Bank and Trust confirmed a cybersecurity incident involving the illegal release of customer data on the dark web. The Arkansas-based lender has engaged law enforcement agencies in their investigation. The bank will provide all affected customers with complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection. The cybercrime group Lockbit 3.0 allegedly posted the hacked data.
