Atomic Stealer Gets an Upgrade

Researchers have discovered an updated version of macOS malware ‘Atomic Stealer’, with enhanced capabilities including payload encryption. The malware, which steals sensitive data, was first launched in April 2023 and is now being sold for a $3,000 per month rental fee. Recently, it has propagated through Google search ads impersonating Slack. To avoid the threat, users are advised to download software exclusively from trusted locations.
