Atomic Stealer Malware Is Using A Devious Ploy To Infect Mac Systems

The ClearFake malware campaign, initially targeting Microsoft Windows users, is now attacking Apple’s macOS. The malware, named Atomic Stealer or AMOS, presents a prompt telling users their browser necessitates an update, tricking them to download the malware. Initially delivered via Binance’s Smart Chain contracts, the malicious code can’t be blocked and is becoming more complex, targeting both Windows and macOS systems, causing users to need to be increasingly vigilant regarding software downloads.
