Atomic Stealer malware spread to Mac users via fake browser updates: Report

Cybersecurity firm Malwarebytes has found that the new ClearFake malware campaign is deploying Atomic Stealer malware (AMOS) to both Mac and Windows users via fake browser updating. The malware is spread via compromised websites, unlocking a large audience for the hackers to steal valuable credentials and files from. ClearFake started in July primarily targeting Windows users but was found targeting Mac users in November.
