Australia to pilot ‘long overdue’ cyber threat-sharing network for healthcare

The Australian government is investing $4.2 million into information sharing and analysis centre (ISAC) to manage cyber threats in the healthcare sector. ISAC, already in use in banking and finance, identifies the healthcare sector as ‘high-risk’. Recently, Australia has seen significant cyber attacks on its healthcare sector, including data breaches and ransomware attacks.
