AWS cyber attack exposes over 230 million unique cloud environments

Hackers have targeted Amazon Web Services (AWS), potentially compromising over 230 million unique cloud environments. They accessed (.env) files, often overlooked by security tools. They manipulated IAM (Identity and Access Management) privileges using Lambda functions, exerting full administrative control. Data was taken from over 110,000 domains and over 230 million cloud endpoints. Meanwhile, AWS is expanding in South India and launching a new dedicated data center, Amazon Air.
