AWS offers generative AI documentation through API, medical imaging at scale

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced two AI-driven cloud-based health services, AWS HealthScribe and AWS HealthImaging. HealthScribe offers a HIPAA-eligible generative AI to aid with clinical documentation, using natural language processing to categorise and summarise transcriptions. AWS HealthImaging is a new medical imaging service that allows large scale data handling. It will automatically organise medical images, offering concurrent import jobs. AWS also plans to add customer guidance on generative AI.
