BA, BBC data snatched in MOVEit attacks

A new attack on Zellis, a payroll provider using enterprise file transfer software MOVEit Transfer, has led to data breaches at companies such as the BBC, British Airways, and Boots. The attack was enabled by an unknown vulnerability in the MOVEit software and offered the ability to instantly deploy ransomware or perform other malicious actions. The attackers have been linked to a threat group known as Lace Tempest.
