Over half of all malware downloads originate from popular cloud apps, with Microsoft OneDrive being the most exploited for delivering malicious content, according to Netskope Threat Labs. State-sponsored threat actors, particularly Russian ones, increasingly misuse cloud services like OneDrive and Dropbox to host command and control (C2) infrastructure. Cloud-based security services are crucial to combating these threats.
