Phone and tablet users are urged to be vigilant for phishing scams linked to the UK government’s testing of an emergency alert system this Sunday. The government warns will not include any links, but cybersecurity expert Nick France worries that hackers will use the test as an opportunity to send fake alerts containing malicious links. Only smart device users on 4G and 5G networks will receive the alerts.
