Belgian Defense Ministry confirms cyberattack through Log4j exploitation

The Belgian Ministry of Defense has reported a cyberattack on its networks following an exploit of the Log4j vulnerability. The Ministry didn’t reveal if it was a ransomware attack but stated it took immediate action to quarantine the infected elements to maintain network operability. Reports have suggested that state-sponsored hackers globally are utilizing the Log4j bug to deploy malware, including ransomware.
