BHF Couriers denies credit card data breach
A hacker named Okhotnik claims to have obtained more than 12GB of data from NSW courier firm BHF Couriers, including credit card details. BHF Couriers however insists the data is from 2009 and was encrypted rendering it “not valuable to anyone”. The firm also revealed that it had been contacted with a ransom demand for $2,500 in Monero cryptocurrency, under threat of making all data public.
