BiBi Wiper Attacking Windows Machine to Cause Data Destruction

An Israeli security firm discovered a new malware, called BiBi-Linux Wiper, that is believed to have been deployed by pro-Hamas hackers. The malware targets Linux systems, causing irreversible data loss without any ransom demand. Blackberry’s research team has also identified a Windows version of the malware, indicating an escalation in cyber warfare. The malware’s emergence, utilised for destruction rather than profiteering, links cyber warfare to geopolitical events.
