BiBi Wiper Attacking Windows Machine to Cause Data Destruction

The ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict has seen the use of cyberattacks as a weapon. An Israeli security firm discovered a wiper malware, named BiBi-Linux Wiper, targeting Linux systems, resulting in irreversible data loss. The hackers believed to be pro-Hamas who deployed the malware have also developed a Windows version. There is no ransom demand associated with the malware, indicating its aim is primarily destructive. The malware was found on several compromised Linux servers belonging to Israeli organizations.
