President Joe Biden has warned that Russia is exploring options for potential cyberattacks against the United States in response to economic sanctions imposed by the US amid the assault on Ukraine. The government has urged private sector entities to improve cybersecurity measures and follow best practices, while tech and software companies are encouraged to build security into products from the beginning and meet the security standards outlined in the President’s Executive Order on cybersecurity.
