Blood tests delayed as fallout from cyber attack on London hospitals continues

A Russian cyberattack has caused major delays to medical procedures at NHS trusts across London. The action was allegedly carried out by a group called Qilin, which targeted pathology firm Synnovis. Operations, blood tests and other procedures have been heavily affected, causing delays anticipated to extend for around two months. GPs in south and southeast London are currently unable to conduct routine blood tests.
