Broken ARM: Mali Malware Pwns Phones

Google has discovered three major bugs in the Android GPU driver for ARM Mali, affecting several flagship phones including the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Google Pixel 6 and 7. An improper access to freed memory could allow for unauthorized manipulation or compromise of sensitive data. Although a patch has been provided, availability will depend on the speed of device maker and vendor updates.
