Businesses improved cyber incident response times following Log4j, report finds

The average security response time to cyber attacks improved from 29 to 19 days between 2021 and 2022, according to a study by Immersive Labs. The improvement was a result of high-profile vulnerabilities like the Log4j crisis, and the research was based on organizations completing over 1.1 million cyber simulations. However, the study found security teams unprepared to handle post-incident recovery, focusing mainly on the initial stages of an attack.
