Caithness councillor Matthew Reiss is concerned about ‘bizarre circumstances’ which led to Thurso man’s claims on data breaches

A Councillor in Caithness, Scotland, has highlighted concern over data breaches at NHS Highland. Matthew Reiss approached the healthcare provider’s CEO, Pam Dudek, after a local man, Peter Todd, received personal information about other patients and staff members. Ms Dudek confirmed one data breach and an apology had been issued. Meanwhile, Mr Todd claimed there had been three breaches and has taken his concerns to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
