California’s data exchange framework proves government can do big things

The California Health and Human Services Agency has begun statewide implementation of the Data Exchange Framework (DxF), providing health and social service providers with greater access to important perspectives on a patient’s wellbeing. The framework promotes equitable care and empowers providers towards whole-person, participatory healthcare and permits patients to access their own health data while ensuring their privacy and security.
