Carpetright, a British flooring chain, has been the subject of a cyberattack, which has impacted hundreds of customer orders. The company’s network was taken offline following the breach, though the firm asserts no data was stolen. Despite this, phone lines remain inoperable, and employees have struggled to access their payroll information. Carpetright is the latest high-profile hacking victim after NHS Dumfries and Galloway and the British Library were targeted last month and in October 2023, respectively.
