Centene names new COO following leadership turnover

Centene has appointed Susan Smith as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective from 1 January 2024. Smith previously served as senior VP at Centene and has also worked at Humana. Her responsibilities as the COO will include managing Centene’s core business operations and several key initiatives. This appointment follows several leadership changes at Centene over the past year.
